Updated - You are not missing anything, I am super behind!!!

I am about 15 days behind on what we have been doing.  I have a lot of drafts on deck, but haven't always had the bandwidth to add the pictures (mostly I mean wifi/cell bandwidth, but sometimes it was my own that was lacking). Sooooo much to share, but instead of trying to rush through everything we have experienced I will share what we did today then retrace my steps from Old Faithful (which is one of the drafts) to yesterday.  Today we are in Twin Falls, Idaho!  We are staying at the  Oregon Trails Campground .  It was a pretty decent place.  It might not seem like a place you'd stop, but it was a comfortable drive from the eastern side of Oregon heading southeast and we needed a couple of days to re-establish our plan going forward - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! So we spent a good amount of time chilling and mapping and around 3p we headed out to on our bikes.  We headed to Snake Canyon, which was about 5 miles away.  There was a great paved wal...

Old Faithful here we come!!! But first...

On route to Old Faithful we traveled from South Dakota to Wyoming.   This was a common sight.  Remnants for fires.   After we passed these above hills the scenery changed to more prairie lands.  And it stayed this way for quite a while. Traveling in some of these areas was a bit scary.  The wind would almost feel like it came out of no where and basically bitch slapped us.  It would hit the RV pretty hard and scared the heck out of us several times.  Luckily, John is an amazing driver and kept us safe.   We stopped in Dubois, Wyoming for the night.  Found a great campground called  Windhaven Resort   And the price was awesome.  It was probably the best place thus far that we stayed.  It was SUPER clean, by a river, a great fire pit, great hosts...I could go on.  Though I just read reviews and it mentioned homemade cookies, which were not part of our visit.  LOL.   Minou Update  He still loves ridi...

9/11 - 9/13

On 9/11 we arrived at Custer State Park First up is DONKEYS!!! Next we have herds of BISON!! We arrived at our home for 2 nights,  Custer Crazy Horse Campground .  It wasn't bad.  Actually had some pretty good spots for tents near huge boulders and they even had some cabins (actually a lot of the campgrounds around here have them).  the boulder with the tent site I thought was cool the cabins - there were more on the other side of the campground too. looking up from our site - it's the same boulder as above.  It was a steep campground, but they did well with laying it out.  On 9/12 we went to  Mt. Rushmore .  I truly thought it would take us the whole day, but I think we enjoyed it for about 3 hours.  It's interesting with the National Park Pass we get in for free, but they still charge parking - ugh!  Luckily we got that half off thanks to John's age.   Mt. Rushmore was amazing.  No you can't go in the eye like Nicholas ...
