On our route back to the US, Alex was waiting to join us at our next destination. John and I hadn't had any problem finding camp sites all the way to the west coast, but that was all changed. Frustration and disappointment was about to kick all of our asses. There was too much confusion and I finally got frustrated with finding nothing (and of course, still feeling uncomfortable wanting to park our RV in Seattle), so I booked a site 1 hour north of Seattle at Angel of the Winds RV Resort The place was super nice with some cool amenities. But it was such a short stay so much of it was missed by us. Alex actually met us up there. We hung out, tried to figure out our next destination and went for a soak in the hot tub. And then her and Kurt went back to their place for the night. Kurt was able to grab a few things he forgot, sleep in a comfy bed with his gal and then be ready to meet us at our next stop.
We all agreed to head to Ocean City State Park Washington. It was a beautiful stop. Kurt & Alex had stayed there before and liked it. They were right. It was great. Right on the ocean. A short walk to enjoy the sunset on our first night. The next day John actually used his metal detector for some extra fun. He actually found an "old" earring. Old as in rusted, but it was still a find. :-)

We stayed there 2 nights, but we had to move sites. Kurt and Alex stayed in their tent, so when we moved Kurt took the tent via his one wheel over to the other site.
Alex had her car so we were able to get around to see things a little differently than if we just had the e-bikes. She drove us to another section of the beach and we did some sight seeing. And saw some incredible sea life. We have all never seen so many starfish.

We played Monopoly the card game and Minou was hanging with Kurt.
Next up we head to Astoria, Oregon. I needed to see The Goonies house.
Great pictures. What a beautiful couple of stops. I bet it was good to see Kurt and Alex!!!
